The Whale's Tail Beach at Marino Ballena National Park is one of the most popular tour destinations in all of Latin America, perhaps owed in part to the happy irony of incredible whale watching in a bay whose beaches are shaped like a whale's tail.

The Southern Pacific Coast of Costa Rica is blessed with an astounding amount of water springing up from the aquifers high in the mountains in amazing displays of cascading beauty. Among these are the Diamante Falls, Nauyaca Falls, Eco Chantales and of course Cascada Elysiana. Dominical, 25 minutes down the mountain, is famous for it's surfing and beautiful beaches line the coast from Jacó down to the Osa Peninsula.
